Jiang Wang passes his final defense to become the third PhD graduate from the Ferguson Lab. Jiang’s PhD concerned the development and deployment of nonlinear manifold learning techniques combined with statistical thermodynamics and dynamical systems theory to understand the folding and assembly of polymers, peptides, and asphaltenes. Jiang will remain with us over the summer before commencing a postdoctoral research position with Cecilia Clementi and Frank Noe at Rice University. Congratulations, Jiang!
