Rachael Mansbach passes her final defense to become the fourth PhD graduate from the Ferguson Lab. Rachael’s PhD concerned the development and use of all-atom and coarse-grained molecular models in tandem with nonlinear manifold learning and analytical continuum modeling to understand and engineer the folding behavior of radially amphiphilic peptides and the self-assembly of optoelectronic supramolecular peptide assemblies. Rachael will remain with us over the summer before commencing a postdoctoral research position with Dr. Sandrasegaram “Gnana” Gnanakaran at Los Alamos National Lab. Congratulations, Rachael!
